My nieces, Etta Mae and Ave(not pcitured) and nephew, Finley bring so much joy to my life. They are the most amazing children and I love being their uncle.
I am an avid gardener and one who believes that turf lawns are a very much lost opportunities to create abundant, pollinator friendly spaces bursting with delicious berries and vegetables.

When not in the mountains or doing homework I can most often be found playing chess. I love the game of chess and find the logic and puzzle solving involved in the playing of chess to be an everlasting joy.
Cooking and eating food is an important part of my and my family’s lives. My passed career as a chef and my upbringing on a little farm have rooted me in a community of good food for which I am very grateful.
